Opening the Member Profile
The Member Profile is the central view for understanding a specific borrower or applicant within Ascent. It shows personal information, product applications, uploaded documents, and a timeline of activity — all in one place.
There are several ways to access a Member Profile, depending on where you are in the platform.
1. From the Leads Table
The most common way to access a Member Profile is by clicking directly on a Lead in the Leads Table. Each Lead row is associated with an individual applicant, and clicking the row will take you to their profile.
This method is ideal for:
Reviewing applications that have just been submitted
Following up on in-progress or unregistered borrower Leads
Taking further actions like Approve, Close, or Make Request
2. From the Members Table
You can also search for and navigate to a Member Profile via the Members Table, which provides a broader list of all known applicants and account holders in your system.
To do this:
Navigate to the Members section from the left-hand menu.
Use the search and filters to locate the desired member.
Click the row to open their Member Profile.
This is particularly useful when:
You’re looking for historical applicants
You want to see all products and activity tied to a specific person
You’re managing long-term relationships across multiple products
3. From Contextual Breadcrumbs
In some areas of the platform — such as the Application Details page (often accessed via a notification or inbox alert) — a breadcrumb navigation appears near the top of the page. If this breadcrumb includes a link labelled "Member Profile", you can click it to jump directly to the full profile view.
This method is helpful when:
You’re mid-task and want to pivot to a broader view of the member
You entered via a deep link or notification and need context
You’re switching between applications, documents, or reviews
By providing multiple paths into the Member Profile, Ascent makes it easy to move fluidly between high-level summaries and detailed views — no matter where your workflow starts.
