Application Landing Page Options
Members can access your institution's applications in several ways, each designed to provide a simple, familiar entry point. The method you use depends on your website, online banking setup, and member needs.
Members can access applications through four entry points:
1. External Splash Page
The External Splash Page is a white-labeled landing page hosted by Ascent and branded with your institution's logo, colors, and styling.

This page provides:
A centralized view of all available applications
Short descriptions of each product to help members choose (Personal Loan, Auto Loan, Home Improvement Loan)
A mobile-optimized interface with no login required
Optional registration or sign-in to save progress or revisit submissions
The splash page is ideal for presenting multiple lending products in one place. Link to it from your website, online banking, or marketing campaigns.
2. Direct Application Links
Direct URLs take members straight to a specific application. Use them for:
Embedding in your website's product pages (Apply for a Personal Loan button)
Linking from email campaigns or advertisements
Directing specific members to pre-qualified or targeted offers
These links take members directly into the application flow. Like the splash page, login is optional.
3. Applicant Portal

Members who have created an account can log in to the Applicant Portal at any time to:
View all available applications
View in-progress or completed applications
Review application status and documentation requests
Manage data connections (Plaid integrations, uploaded documents)
View previously uploaded documents and summaries (if enabled)
The portal serves as a long-term hub for member interactions with your institution and is fully white-labeled and mobile-responsive.
Members typically access the portal by:
Registering during or after an application
Following a sign-in link sent by email
Clicking a Sign In or My Applications link on your website
4. Online Banking Integrations
Ascent can be embedded directly into your online banking platform using Single Sign-On (SSO). When a member logs into their banking dashboard (Alkami, Q2, or Banno), they can:
Access a fully authenticated Ascent experience
Begin a new application without re-entering information
View current application status or upload documents
Access the Applicant Portal, prefilled product offers, or custom workflows
This option seamlessly integrates lending products into the financial environment your members already use.
