What to Expect from This Guide
This guide supports Ascent users across multiple roles and workflows. Whether you're processing loan applications, onboarding businesses, managing servicing workflows, or handling reviews and modifications, you'll find the tools and terminology you need to work effectively.
A Note on Terminology
Credit unions refer to their account holders as "members," while banks use "customers." Throughout this guide, we primarily use "members" to keep the language consistent, but the platform and documentation apply equally to both credit unions and banks. Feel free to mentally substitute "customers" wherever you see "members."
Where to Start
We recommend starting with The Ascent Application Experience, which explains how members interact with the platform from their first visit through application submission.
If you're already familiar with the member experience, skip to Applications and Leads or jump directly to specific modules like Servicing or Annual Reviews.
